More tagging specifics can be found on our facebook page. Some supplies needed for proper tagging include safety pins (all sizes), 3×5 index cards, pen, Red Sharpie, all size ziplock bags, blue painters tape, packaging tape, large rubber bands.
All clothing should be hung on WIRE hangers only! You may find these at your dry cleaners, Walmart, post in the wanted section on Craigslist, or neighbors and friends. Place the item on the hanger with the hook facing left (like a question mark) and attach tag to top of left shoulder of the item (see picture below)
Shoes-Make sure shoes are securely attached to each other with rubber bands, zip ties, ziplock bags, etc.. Tag can be attached by taping it to the ziplock bag, taped to the bottom of the shoes, attached with a safety pin to shoe laces.
Puzzles- puzzles can be assembled and wrapped in saran wrap and tag taped to the wrap.
Toys/Games- make sure multi piece games have all pieces and tag taped securely to main body of toy. These tend to get pulled off easy from eager children!
Books- when tagging books it is best to use blue painters tape. It will not rip the book when it is being pulled off.
